Gardenview Bed And Breakfast - Newport

I had a fantastic 2-night stay! Mary was super cute and her chocolate chip scones were a treat. The room was cozy, and being a mile from the center made it nice and peaceful. Plus, I loved being close to the Cliff Walk.

The hotel of choice in Newport. Great base for a 2-night stay. Nice and convenient location in Newport, right by the ocean and Gooseberry Beach and the center of town. Also, in a quiet neighborhood. Varied and fresh made breakfast with fruit and juice for every taste.

A good stay with warm touches

Waking to delicious chocolate orange scones each morning prepared by Mary was pure bliss! The Sunlit Suite offered ample space and unmatched comfort. Her hospitality.

It didn't overshadow the overall experience.

The beautiful garden offered a tranquil escape.

The housekeeping was lacking, as I noticed mildew on the shower curtain and a slow drain. The decor felt dated, with some torn wallpaper.

Cozy room with nice jetted tub. No smoking on site was appreciated.

The Sunlit Suite was fine, with a massive bed and good skylights which filled the room with natural light. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the French toast, a delectable treat. Having a refrigerator and spacious areas for luggage. Noise from other guests during the night disrupted the peaceful atmosphere, and there were minor cleanliness concerns in the shared areas.

Mary made our stay really special with her amazing breakfasts and thoughtful touches like leaving snacks for our early exit. We loved spending time in the beautiful garden and cozy common areas to unwind after a busy day. The only downside was a bit of noise from upstairs, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all. 😊

The breakfast was fantastic with chocolate coconut pancakes, and being just a short stroll from King Park made our city walks good .

Staying at gardenview bed and breakfast was such a treat! The room was beautifully decorated, and the facilities were perfect. We especially loved that it's just blocks away from the mansions on bellevue avenue. Mary is an excellent host! Plus, she had delicious scones ready for us when we had to leave early.
